Various samples of me opening and closing my old wooden drawers, mostly with clothes inside of them. Different drawers have different weights of clothes in them, and are in different states of repair, so if the first sounds aren't quite what you're listening for, take a listen to the later sounds. In the garden of an old house in dreux, france, on a warm july day. Some footsteps in the dry grass, then still. Birdsong, a little bit of wind at the start, a buzzing insect. Recorded on a stereo zoom h2, slightly filtered to take the edge off the wind sounds.

A woman is walking down the stairs, passes the recorder and walks down to the cellar. You hear the keys in her hand and a car passing in the distance. She opens a door. At some point there is slight handling noise from holding the recorder. Bonny orbit sound library.

A door is trying to keep itself closed with a strong wind (very fast thanks to the mountain). You can notice the cracks: it's old, more than 30 years old. I left a wall clock running by mistake, but i think it can't be noticed. If you do and don't want it, i have another recording with it stopped (same name, number 2). Recorded with a zoom h4n. Recorded on my zoom h4n 44100 hz stereo. This is a short clip of my 11 year old son playing basketball in the driveway at our house. There is ambient road noise. It starts off with a swish, then some dribbling then another swish. This is a rubber basketball bouncing on asphalt with a metal rim, nylon net and wooden backboard.

Recorded at close proximity with a sennheiser 416 microphone, to a sound devices 552, in a residential, fully attached house, with minimal noise and background but natural ambience and reflection, from a large (bed)room.

A recording made february 24th, 2019 in a residential section of a small midwestern town. . . The stiff north winds are rattling the remaining dry leaves. . . You will also hear the subtle singing of the birds that always greet you in late winter. . . Birds like house sparrows and starlings. From time to time, you'll hear the tinkly, nice sound of some wind-chimes hanging on the front porch of some house. The skittering of dried and old leaves scooting across the ground also makes an appearance. Enjoy this cold late-winter soundscape!.
